![]() ![]() Where the bottom is bare sand, a live shrimp rigged on a 1/8 to 1/4-ounce jig head has been effective. Soft plastic sea shad or jerk baits tend to get anglers the most strikes in areas with seagrass or calerpa on the bottom. In the lagoons, redfish, snook and speckled trout are the three top predators anglers can expect to find on the flats and near mangrove-covered shorelines. Live fingerling mullet rigged on a 1/2-ounce jig head or knocker rig is likely to get your rod bent as well. Lures like the Rapala X-Rap size 10 in black or greenback have been very productive on many of these species this week. Anglers can expect to catch Spanish mackerel, bluefish, jack, ladyfish, small sharks, redfish and snook along the beaches where mullet are gathering. There are still some signs of the tail end of the mullet run going on along the coast. Keep a spinning rod rigged with a jig handy in case some of these sharks have cobia following them. There are plenty of sharks out there so bring extra lead and leader material. Cut baits like sardine, squid and herring can also work on these fish. Live fingerling mullet is a top bait choice. Lane, mangrove and mutton snapper are possible on the reefs and wrecks in the 80- to 130-foot depths. Sailfish have been mixed in with these other two species and can be caught randomly trolling as well but anglers specifically targeting the sails should pull mullet dredges and look for areas with bait schooled up or better yet balled up for best results. The tuna prefer small dark-colored skirts in purple/black or blue/black color combinations. Bright colors like green/yellow, blue/white and pink/white are working best for the dolphin. ![]() Anglers trolling small to medium-sized skirted ballyhoo are doing best on the dolphin and blackfin. Scattered sailfish, dolphin and blackfin tuna can be found near temperature breaks and rips associated with the western edge of the Gulf Stream. Another was her "friend" as a regular and would keep an eye on her. One forgot the formality of hello and asked if she was in porn. Spoke with one unaccompanied female while there. I did use profanity on one of them to rattle and they ran. I was not bothered however as I am large male with wife. They will talk to all single women or couples on way in. The trouble with this beach is it is full of what the locals call "sharks". I stayed to right as I hiked in and met a few nice people. ![]() The regular nudist crowd head left at lot 13 and pile up together with in 1/4 mile area. I go to enjoy being outside and bring as little as possible and clean up others trash on way out. Many other late comers play the parking lot musical chair games with enough stuff for setting up a contractor tent. I parked in lot 10 and walked in about from about post marker 79 to post marker about 75 in 30 minutes. ![]() Titusville is a very local town with little attraction other than park. It is located at end of drive almost due east off I-95 at Titusville. I'm writing this based on experience at this rustic beach site. ![]()
